Full Devotional
There are seasons in every believer’s life when prayers seem unanswered, worship feels dry, and God appears distant. During such moments, it is easy to question His love, His promises, or even His presence.
Yet throughout Scripture, God’s faithful servants experienced similar seasons. Joseph endured years of slavery and imprisonment before seeing God’s purpose fulfilled. David waited patiently after being anointed king. Even Jesus experienced the silence of the Father in Gethsemane and on the cross.
God’s silence is never evidence of His abandonment. Sometimes He is developing our faith, teaching us dependence, refining our character, or arranging circumstances beyond our understanding.
Faith is not believing because we can see God’s hand; it is trusting His heart when His hand is hidden.
If God seems silent today, continue praying, continue worshipping, and continue trusting. His silence is often the preparation for His greatest revelation.
Prayer, Father, help me to trust You even when I cannot hear Your voice. Strengthen my faith and remind me that You are always working for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen
